Heavy day today involves some front squats with a lower rep scheme. For these front squats, we want you to lift the most amount of weight you can for each set. There is a total of six working sets and ideally you’re taking one set roughly every 2 to 3 minutes. Work to keep each working set productive by avoiding failure. For this heavy day, score the heaviest weight you successfully complete for each set. We will take 25 minutes for this portion.
AMRAP 15 mins:
Sled Push, pick load, 200ft
Farmer Carry, pick load, 100 m
Sandbag Bear Hug Carry, pick load, 100 m
Goal: Just get it done
Although this is an AMRAP we want you to take the approach of moving for quality and with intention versus for intensity. For each one of these movements, use a moderate weight that allows you to complete the work in either an unbroken set or by breaking into 2 to 3 sets at most.
