FAQ

No, you do not need to be in shape to start. “The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience or fitness level. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs” Courtesy of CrossFit Inc.

At CrossFit Cheyenne we strive to create an environment where all athletes are supported and encouraged regardless of fitness level. When you walk through our doors you have stepped into an environment where we all share the same common goal, to improve our quality of life through fitness. Along the way, through the sweating, grunting and personal achievements you will forge lifelong friendships.

An abbreviation for the Workout Of The Day.

We love drop-ins! Check out our schedule for class times. The drop-in fee is $20/day or $60 for one week. We ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes early to fill out a waiver and meet the coach. Keep in mind, the altitude can make the running, rowing and breathing a little more noticeable for visitors. Please be sure to drink plenty of water before, during and after your workout.

We welcome anyone interested in trying out CrossFit for the first time to join any one of our Group WOD classes for a free trial class. Please contact us so we can make arrangements for the best day and time that works with your schedule. Remember, CrossFit is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience or fitness level. We will scale load and intensity; we won’t change programs. See our schedule for Group WOD times then contact us to let us know you’re coming.

We do have a designated gated off area for kids that will be accompanying their parent(s) during group WOD’s. We DO NOT provide supervision, therefore parents are solely responsible for their kids.

We ask that you please take note of the follow rules to ensure the safety of all and experience of all members:

  1. Children must be in the kids room during class. If they are old enough and understand that they cannot be on the floor, the benches are the next safest place.
  2. Children are not allowed on the floor during class times unless their parent is escorting them to the bathroom or water cooler.
  3. If there is a class following yours, please be sure your child is not running through the next class before you head out the door.
  4. If your child becomes disruptive (i.e., crying, screaming, whiny, etc.) we ask that you stop your workout and tend to them until they have settled down.
  5. We ask that you please leave the kids room how you found it. If you need a broom, vacuum or mop a Trainer would be happy to get that for you.
