These group classes welcome the beginner to advanced or elite athlete. The variety in movements, time domains, loading and repetitions throughout the weeks and months will give attendees a large, well rounded base of fitness. Each class is run the same throughout the day and will include the following:
A 45 minute class, CrossFit Light workouts stem from the CrossFit methodology of constantly varied, functional movement performed at high intensity based on the fitness level and needs of our athletes. Following the same programming as our CrossFit classes, traditional barbell work and Olympic lifting you see in our regular CrossFit programming will be replaced with kettlebells, dumbbells, sleds, medicine balls and other modalities to elicit a similar response.
Right in line with our 45 minute CrossFit Light classes, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00am we run CrossFit Hybrid. That means our workout is designed to be done with either the barbell, kettlebells or dumbbells. If you prefer the barbell or are looking to get more comfortable with a barbell, hit up these classes! Always open to both Unlimited and CrossFit Light members.
CrossFit Kids focuses on establishing movement patterns which result in improved physical fitness, sports performance and fewer sports injuries. General fitness skills (running, rowing, biking) are paired with bodyweight movements (squats, push-ups, etc), gymnastics (pull ups, handstands, etc) and age and skill appropriate weight lifting (back squat, clean and jerk, etc) to improve strength, agility and overall fitness, all while having fun in a kid-friendly environment.
We welcome anyone interested in trying out CrossFit for the first time to join one of our Group WOD classes.
