Hero WOD 12 of 15

“Holleyman”

30 rounds for time of:
5 Wall Balls, 20/14 lbs
3 Handstand Push-ups
1 Power Clean, 225/155 lbs

Goal: Just get it done
Time Cap: 30 Minutes

U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Aaron N. Holleyman, 27, of Glasgow, Montana, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group, based in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, was killed on August 30, 2004, when his military vehicle hit an improvised explosive device in Khutayiah, Iraq. He is survived by his daughters Shelby and Erin, son Zachary, parents Ross and Glenda, and siblings Kelly and Daniel.

Such a great and classic Hero workout. A great one to take on the challenge if you have the movements and are comfortable with the loading and some HSPU’s. The short reps should allow for some relatively quick rounds. Consistency is key here and each one of us will have something that will be more challenging wether it’s the clean or the hspu. Use the opposing movement to get a bit of recovery and go into the next round with some confidence. Adjust loading as needed and check out the scaling options if needed for the HSPU.
