Deload Week!

Every 1 min for 10 mins:
2 Temp Back Squats (:03 down, fast up)

Use 50% of your 1RM

We are starting our deload week off with a heavy day! We have tempo back squats at 50% of your 1RM and are focusing on bar speed today and not loading. This will serve a few purposes to our athletes but the main one is recovery from the heavier loading in weeks prior.

Accessory
Sled Push:
1-1-1-1-1

5x 50 ft.
Use the heaviest weight you can for each set.
Rest as needed between sets.

The next part of our heavy day will include a sled push! This is a great way to mix up strength work and get you working a bit of unilateral movement. Use the heaviest weight you can on the sled allowing for the entire 50′ to be done in an unbroken set. If you find it hard to load the sled heavy enough on the turf, take a buddy for a ride.
