Crossfit open workout 22.2 has been announced and it looks like we will be doing a lot of deadlifts and burpees! This is a for-time workout with a 10-minute cap. For this workout, most will be working to get as many reps as they can. In order to complete all the work inside the 10-minute cap, you’ll have to be moving continuously at an aggressive pace. This workout has a huge demand on midline stability especially as you start getting tired. Although it is the Open and we want you working with intensity that does not forgo your ability to move well. Given the rep scheme of this workout, it will be easy to want to go out super hard, however, it will pay dividends to start with a manageable pace and have some gas in the tank to speed up towards the end. Those who struggle to stay moving on burpees should work to find a methodical rhythm. Those who have the capacity should work to push the pace on the burpee and be willing to get uncomfortable.
